Libellula - it's an italian term for "Dragonfly" and the name of this charming house. It's a large and bright studio with a lovely terrace with sea view and of Sicily in a quiet part of the island, a small Aeolian village in Contrada Fossetta near the Church of the island of Filicudi Pecorini, at a tenminutes walk from the seaside of Pecorini. Here's the map.

It 'great for a couple, and a third bed it's available upon request.

It's 'equipped with air conditioning althaugh the room is naturally very cool and the ceiling paddle fan is more than sufficient to make pleasant even the hottest days!

From the terrace, characterized by traditional "bisuoli" Aeolian, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and the coast of Sicily, which at sunset is a whole swarm of flickering lights and reflections on the water of the sea.
In the days of good visibility one can see even the Etna smoking.

Here is a picture that does not do justice, however, of the view that you can see from the terrace.

On the terrace you are comfortably in 4 at the table, and it is a pleasure to enjoy the breeze, watching the lights of Sicily, sipping a sweet Malvasia.

On the left there is' the door that overlooks the terrace, and to the side of the bed there are two windows to flood the house with light.
Yes, you can close them, for those who prefer to sleep late!

Here is a detail of the cooking area. Note the microwave oven and the italian coffee maker Italian.
You'll fint there also pots and all the necessary funiture to cook your favourite dishes.
NOTE: there is not any GAS oven. Just microwave or electric.

The studio Dragonfly is Filicudi (but you knew that) in Contrada Fosetta (a small portion of Pecorini, just below the church. In the picture below the Church of Pecorini is at number 3, while Dragonfly is at number 1. The other our homes are the number 2.

Dragonfly's relatively near to the sea, in 10 minutes walk you will be at Pecorini Mare, a walk of about 600 meters along the old path that links the church of Pecorini to the sea.

The Dragonfly House is located on the upper floor of the studio "kite".
The ground is downhill. The entrance of the house Libellula is at the level of the street while going to the house "Kite" you have to go down a stairway.

I know, in this picture there isn't any coverage of the terrace ...
but do not worry, it's only because the photo is not recent, the terrace is covered and protected from the sun!

Here is a photo of the interior of the bathroom.
In the bathroom, there is' a comfortable shower is not visible in the photo.
The hot water is supplied from an ecological solar panel, and in case of need 'from a boiler.

Libellula is located in Pecorini, on the path that leads to the municipal Filicudi Pecorini Sea, and is very close to the Church of Pecorini and post office in Filicudi.

The old staircase leads you to the sea Pecorini in less than 10 minutes walk, with a distance of approximately 600 meters (not on level ground, you will!).
