How to get to Filicudi Island in Sicily

Getting to Filicudi is easy, but it's good to book and check everything before you leave!

We suggest you always book (especially for cars) and check the timetables and routes available for each company.

Note: If you want to come to Summer Car, you will need to show in writing (on the dashboard) that you have a hotel reservation or a private home for at least one week, and you have a private car park. By municipal decree.
Note: Siremar and Ustica lines have merged into becoming the "company of the islands" and "Liberty lines".
Their sites sometimes go from one to the other, so it's good to know that they are by now the same company.

from Palermo:

You can go to Palermo by plane, and take the taxi to the port and get to Filicudi in a hydrofoil.
There is only one race for Filicudi, and it's only summer.
There are no ships for Filicudi departing from Palermo.

By N.G.I. ferries (onsaturdays there are ferries from milazzo to filicudi for cars and passengers).

from Reggio Calabria:

I think from Reggio Calabria the shortest way to get to Filicudi is going to Messina, (the station is close to the port).

from Catania:

You can reach Catania by plane or train.

There is a shuttle service from Catania to the port of Milazzo, which is better to book.

it's a service from Alibrando Company. Autolinee Alibrando - Catania Aereoporto - Milazzo porto

Or you can take the buses to Messina and then for Milazzo.
At the Messina railway station you will find the bus stop Sais (Catania and Catania) and Giuntabus (from and to Milazzo, with port terminus). :
